All martial artists appreciate how important it is to prepare yourself both in mind and body before training. This time honoured ritual of preparing yourself for the rigours of martial arts always begins when putting on a traditional martial arts uniform.

Where as martial arts uniforms are specifically designed for fast rigorous movements allowing an unrestricted full range of motion as is needed for Karate, Taekwondo and Kung Fu, and martial arts uniforms are made even tougher for Judo or Jiu-Jitsu where the uniforms have to be able to withstand constant grabbing and pulling by a training partner or by a competitive opponent.
